Andy has been involved in new media business development for more than 25 years founding and operating ventures in pay TV, PPV, NVOD, on-line magazines and video on demand. He has led service and channel development ventures throughout Western and Eastern Europe with partners varying from large multi-national media conglomerates to major state broadcasters. He was Chief Executive Officer of Premiere the first pay TV film channel in the UK and the second in Europe. Premiere was a joint venture involving Twentieth Century Fox, Columbia Pictures, Warner Bros., HBO, Viacom, EMI, Mirror Group Newspapers and BT. Andy was later appointed Head of Acquisitions and Managing Director of The Movie Channel at British Satellite Broadcasting. He is the European Vice Chairman of the Broadband Services Forum and a founder and Director of the UK Association for Television On Demand and has contributed to a number of UK Government initiatives in legislating for new media development.
