Mary Francia, born in Lima, Peru, holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA in International Business.

Ms. Francia started her professional career in the USA in 1989 and since then, she has held positions in Customer Service, Marketing Sales and Business Development in areas of Medical Equipment, Cable Television, Wireless Infrastructure, and most recently Outsourcing Services for Flextronics Int'l. and Wireless Facilities Inc.

After a successful period as principal of her own consulting firm, Ms. Francia moved from the United States in November 2003 to accept her current role of Senior Director Operator Business Innovation for Philips Consumer Electronics, Home Entertainment Networks, based in the headquarters in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

In this role, she is leading a new sales channel for Consumer Electronics and Telecom Product Innovation in healthcare, lifestyle and technology as part of the Connected Planet Vision of Philips.
